Ingredients

  • English cucumber
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 apple
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt (0%)
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (vanilla or plain)

Instructions

  • Peel and roughly chop the cucumber and place in the blender.
  • Snap each end off of the celery stalks and peel off any very thick strings. Roughly chop and place in the blender.
  • Peel, core and roughly chop the apple and place in the blender.
  • Add the yogurt and milk to the blender.
  • Blend everything together, on a low speed for 30 seconds, then on high speed until smooth.

Notes

  • For best results use a high speed blender. It may take slightly longer to get smooth in a regular blender.
  • I prefer to peel the apple and cucumber, but you can add them in without peeling.
  • This smoothie isn't overly sweet. You can make it sweeter by adding in a little honey or maple syrup if you like.
  • To reduce sugar content, use a plain 0% Greek yogurt, rather than vanilla.
