Apple Avocado Smoothie

This Apple Avocado Smoothie is a quick, healthy, and delicious green smoothie that can be made in minutes with just a blender.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples (I prefer to use green, but you can use Gala apples for a sweeter flavor)
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ¼ cup 0% Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (475ml)
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  • Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into quarters. Peel the avocado and remove the stone.
  • Place all of the ingredients into the blender.
  • Blend til smooth.
  • Taste for sweetness and adjust if needed.

Notes

  • You can add honey or maple syrup as a sweetener, or you can skip it to reduce calories and carbs.
  • Use a high speed blender for a creamy smooth result.
  • Add a few ice cubes or use frozen avocado to make the smoothie even more refreshing.
