- 2 apples (I prefer to use green, but you can use Gala apples for a sweeter flavor)
- 1 avocado
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- ¼ cup 0% Greek yogurt
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (475ml)
- juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into quarters. Peel the avocado and remove the stone.
Place all of the ingredients into the blender.
Blend til smooth.
Taste for sweetness and adjust if needed.
- You can add honey or maple syrup as a sweetener, or you can skip it to reduce calories and carbs.
- Use a high speed blender for a creamy smooth result.
- Add a few ice cubes or use frozen avocado to make the smoothie even more refreshing.
