Put the candy cane into a blender and give it a whizz to break up into small pieces. Pour into a bowl
Melt the squares of chocolate in a microwave or bain marie. Dip a martini glass in the melted chocolate and then press it into the broken candy canes.
For the cocktail
Put a good handful of ice cubes into a cocktail shaker, and then pour in the measured liquids. Shake for a good 15-20 seconds so that the cocktail shaker is cold. Pour into the rimmed glass, grate some chocolate on the top and serve.
