Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats (90g)
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 cup milk (240ml)
  • whipping cream and cocoa powder to serve (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the oats, cocoa powder, peanut butter and maple syrup to a sealable glass jar.
  • Pour in the milk and seal shut.
  • Shake well until the ingredients are well mixed and place in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
  • Top with whipped cream and cocoa powder to serve, if you like.

Notes

  • Nutritional values are an estimate only and don't include the whipped cream topping and assumes this is made with dairy milk.
  • The recipe below is for one jar, you can easily half the recipe, share it or enjoy half the next day as it's pretty filling!
  • Stir the oats before eating them. The ingredients will settle as they rest in the fridge, so give it a good stir to get a more even texture.
  • Feel free swap the whipped cream for some fresh berries or sliced banana for a healthier topping!
