Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls
Quick and easy to make with 4 ingredients, these chocolate Rice Krispie balls are a delicious crunchy sweet treat that kids of all ages will love!

- 8 ounces semi sweet chocolate (225g)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 cups Rice Krispie cereal
Melt the chocolate slowly on a low medium heat in a heavy bottomed pot.
Stir in the vanilla extract once melted.
Add in the mini marshmallows, stir to combine with the melted chocolate until fully melted.
Take off of the heat and mix in the Rice Krispies.
Form six balls with the mixture and press firmly together.
Place on parchment paper and allow to set in the fridge.
- Take care when melting the chocolate and marshmallows. Do it on a low heat stirring regularly so that the chocolate doesn't burn.
- Allow 15 to 20 minutes for the balls to set in the fridge.
- Store at room temperature.
- Make smaller or larger balls if you prefer. Each of these balls is made with around 4 tablespoons of the mixture.
