Instructions
Rub the jalapeno peppers with the oil and place in the air fryer basket.
Cook at 400F / 200c for 10 to 14 minutes (10 minutes if they are on the smaller side) til the skins are charred and they are soft to the touch.
To easily remove the skins, place the jalapenos into a bowl and cover with clingfilm. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes and the skins will be easier to remove.
Notes
Use a high heat neutral oil like canola, sunflower or avocado.
I like to tip a little oil into my hands and rub them over the fresh jalapenos. You can also use an oil spray.
Timings can vary depending on how large your jalapenos are. Smaller ones will take around 10 minutes, larger ones around 14.
The timings remains the same if you are cooking less or more jalapenos.
