    Frequently Asked Questions

What's the best champagne to use?

You don't need to spend a fortune to make up these champagne cocktails, Prosecco, Cava or other sparkling wines are all totally fine to use. Use a clear champagne or sparkling wine for the blue cocktails, and a rose for the pink ones. Use a nice bright rose rather than a blush for the most vibrant color.

The cotton candy flavor is fairly subtle, so most importantly, choose one that you like!

Cn you make them non alcoholic?

Yes! These are great for kids too, simply swap the champagne for lemonade or pink lemonade for a booze-free version.

Can you make them ahead of time?

These cotton candy champagne cocktails are best poured when you are ready to serve them so that they are nice and bubbly, they are also fun for your guests! You can rim the glasses and fill with the cotton candy ahead of time so you all you have to do is pour.

    Recipe Variations

    • If you want to make a harder cocktail, add a shot of vodka or gin to each glass before pouring the champagne.
    • You can skip the colored sugar rim if you prefer, or, just use granulated sugar.

    Recipe Notes and Tips

    • Chill your champagne before pouring.
    • Try not to overflow the glasses when you pour the champagne, as it can make the sugar rim slide down and become super sticky.
    • Serve immediately.
