    Ingredients

    • Chocolate: I used semi-sweet chocolate for this recipe, but you can use dairy, dark or white, whatever takes your fancy!
    • Vanilla Extract: For sweetness and flavor.
    • Mini Marshmallows: These act as a glue to hold everything together. Mini marshmallows are quicker to melt, but larger ones will work if that's what you have.
    • Rice Krispies: For that perfect crunchy bite! You can also make these with other cereal, like cornflakes, if you prefer.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How long do they keep?

These Rice Krispy chocolate balls are best enjoyed within a couple of days. They will keep well for longer, up to 5 days, but the texture won't be as soft.

Once set, store them in an airtight container at room temperature with the layers separated with parchment. You can store them in the fridge, but it's best to let them warm up to room temperature before enjoying to allow them to soften a little.

    Can you freeze them?

Yes, these freeze well and will keep for up to 3 months. Wrap each ball in parchment or plastic wrap and place in a freezer bag. Allow to thaw at room temperature before tucking in.

    • Allow 15 to 20 minutes for the balls to set in the fridge.
    • Store at room temperature.
    • Make smaller or larger balls if you prefer. Each of these balls is made with around 4 tablespoons of the mixture.
